Immerse yourself in the transformative journey with the Biosphere Stewardship Education Program (SEP) offered by Biosphere Foundation, taking place from March 2-5, 2024. This immersive 4-day, 3-night program invites participants to explore the core principles of the Healthy Biosphere Movement, advocating for the essential rights of clean air, food, and water.

Through experiential learning and community service activities, attendees will delve into sustainability and ecological regenerative practices.

Program Overview

Nestled adjacent to the Forest Department, our center acts as a hub for pioneering projects that span Ridge to Reef within and outside Taman National Bali Barat. Our initiatives include coral reef and mangrove forest restoration, forest and watershed regeneration, and family home garden demonstrations. By joining the Biosphere Stewardship Education Program, participants will not only gain insights into these groundbreaking projects but also actively contribute to their ongoing success.

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, you'll be immersed in a diverse range of activities designed to deepen your understanding of ecological systems and sustainability practices. Engage in guided hikes to the Bukit Indah Reforestation project, participate in snorkeling and coral ecology sessions, and contribute to beach clean-ups. Our program fosters hands-on experiences, such as making swales and irrigation catchments, creating compost at the farm, and exploring sustainable waste management practices at the West Bali National Park.
